Wow! Live shows are back! How exciting?! Thank goodness!
Music Roulette! (aka Stephanie didn’t come up with a playlist for tonight so we’re just doing shuffle with the playlist of songs we’ve played so far in 2017). I told you why I will truly be single forever and about the nightmare date that I went on a week ago. Men my age and older who are single/never married/no kids tend to be a little insane. I have also decided that maybe taking guys home from the bar that I frequent isn’t smart, because if I frequent it, chances are the other guy might too… Tony nominations were announced, asked how you guys feel about that vs. the Broadway Audience Awards because there’s a bit of a discrepancy. Second half of the show, 80s songs that reminded me (and the audience in the chat) of movies that they were featured in.

Floral and Fading – Pierce The Veil
I Want You – Savage Garden
One of Us – Joan Osborne
Bound For The Floor – Local H

Playlist DEVIATION!!! Things other than alternative rock music were played!! Because Bring it ON was our #that90smovie – from 2000, oops, and there was really nothing rock related in that movie, we decided we’d do some fun 90’s hits from various genres!

Some heavy content on this one. The gun control laws or lack there of, for one thing, was a hot topic. As well as some steamy R rated conversation in the later half of the show, we tried to come up with the definition of “sex” I don’t think it worked out very well. We went a little longer than normal because we had so much to say. Check it out.

1. Mo’ Money, Mo’ Problems – Notorious BIG f. Puff Daddy, Mase, etc.
2. If – Janet Jackson
3. Crazy – Aerosmith
4. Bring It All To Me – Blaque f. JC Chasez of ‘NSYNC
5. Breathe – Prodigy
6. Take Me There – Backstreet f. Mya and Mase
7. U Drive Me Crazy – ‘NSYNC
8. Don’t Want You Back – Backstreet Boys
9. No Diggity – Blackstreet
10. Torn – Natalie Imbruglia

12. What’s My Age Again – Blink 182
13. Born To Make You Happy – Britney Spears

I (Steph) flew solo on this show for the first time in a few weeks, but we had the chatroom going and had a fun time. Anna had some personal stuff to deal with. Lots of cool music. Doris Cellar was scheduled to call in, but unfortunately time ran away from her, we’ll have to reschedule some time in the near future.

#that90smovie this week was Can’t Hardly Wait and I had a fantastic time reminiscing.

Also, the big news about ELSIEFEST (aka DarrenStock, take a listen if you don’t understand). and the terribly sad news about Hedwig!

This week’s show features an interesting array of topics and my interview with Matt Duncan (from Hedwig and the Angry Inch) @mattduncanmusic on twitter.
Please note during the interview with Matt there was about 5 minutes of silence- I currently don’t have the audio editor that I want so that I could fix that before uploading. My bad guys. Just know that when it gets to that part, it’s not a mess up, and you can just scroll ahead or something.
